and help open the world to them.
We support specially selected projects — an exhibition, the creation of an
exceptional work of art, a book.
In doing so, Valea Art is building its collection and putting works by artists both known and
unknown into the context they deserve.
Beyond Time
A new exhibition and site-specific installation by Prasklo at GASK.
Inspired by nature and Brutalist architecture, Prague-based artists Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková create vases and art objects by up-cycling glass waste and concrete.
Their work melds minimalism with deliberately imperfect and inorganic forms to express a timeless beauty.
Since 2014, Petra Švejdarová has been working by hand in her Prague studio planting glass into a concrete pedestal to create vases. Joined by Klára Vaculíková to contribute conceptual visions and project creation, Prasklo was born in 2016 when participating at Czech Design Week.
Prasklo produce singular artistic objects that embody their fascination with the ineffable beauty of glass.
